Congratulations to our board president

The Pantagraph in Bloomington IL recently interviewed Brad Barker, our board president.  He’s selling his Honda dealership in Bloomington so he can enjoy retirement and pursue other interests.  He now can be more active in his church and the two charitable boards that he’s on.  One being Recycling Furniture for Families.  You can read the full article here

Donation Challenge

This year has started as a very challenging one for our organization. Due to recent business downsizings and relocations we have found that many of our past financial supporters have either left the area or are financially unable to provide the same support as they have in the past. This is why we are reaching out to you to consider making a financial donation to Recycling Furniture for Families .

Please remember RF4F for donations

As we welcome in the New Year, we ask that you remember Recycling Furniture for Families as part of Tax Deductible Charitable giving.

Recycling Furniture for Families provides furniture and other household items for needy families and individuals in our community. Over the past 12 years, we have provided assistance to over 20,000 in our community; people who wouldn’t have had anywhere else to turn for help without Recycling Furniture for Families. Last year we gave out over 500 beds to children in our community!

2016 was a challenging year for our organization, we had a 12 % decrease in funding from private donors and an increase of 20 % in our utilities to cool and heat our building. We are reliant on your private charitable donations in order to be able to continue to provide the same level of services to our community in 2017. That is why we ask you to remember Recycling Furniture for Families with a charitable gift in support of our important work starting this New Year. Any amount you can share will be greatly appreciated and put to good use right here in our community.

Without your support we will be forced to reduce our services in 2017!

Please visit rf4f.org to make a gift using a credit card, or please send a check to 515 North Center Street, Bloomington IL, 61701. Every gift matters!

Wishing you and your family a Healthy and Happy New Year!
