So that Gene’s memory stays with this organization for many years, we have started the Gene Megli Truck fund. Our goal is to raise $50,000 by March 2015 in order to purchase a new or slightly used box truck and to finance the on-going maintenance of our trucks.
We have already received over $ 3,500 in memorial funds from Gene’s friends and family, which will be used as seed money for the fund . If you would like to contribute to this fund, please make a check payable to “Recycling Furniture for Families” and mail or drop your donation at 515 North Center Street, Bloomington, IL 61701, and note in the memo section “Gene Megli Fund”.
